Hi, all
I have a circuit that I built several days ago. Rather than just replacing a bunch of Zener diodes, is there a way to test them in circuit, without powering on the circuit?
After check the Testing Zener Diodes Guide, I know that surface mount zeners fail shorted, but they can open if there is enough current.
Can I just do a diode check at each polarity with a DMM to detect a bad zener?
Thank you in advance.

Can't you just power it up and monitor the voltage developed across it/them ?
Otherwise just dis one end and test properly

Yes, allowing for shunt elements in the circuit. If it passes a regular diode test,
the Zener function will be ok as well.
Use the force Luke.
Best to check them live as sometimes a good reading diode can still be bad once working current is introduced.
