Hello all. I'm new to the diyAudio forum. I've got an interest in vinyl music and have recently build my first kit phone pre-amp. I'm not an electrical engineer, just a fan of DIY projects and electronics.
I'm based on West Coast of Australia.
I look forward to contributing and learning much more about the audio world.
Regards
Andrew

Good to see you here in DIYaudio. Since you are interested in preamps, here is a design you can look at.
https://www.pcbway.com/project/shareproject/High_Quality_Stereo_Preamplifier_6e21e9f9.html
This preamplifier is based on Rod Elliott's project #2 on his ESP website, which is linked below. Using NE5532 (or any opamp of your choice, really) opamps, giving reasonably low-noise characteristics, makes assembly simple and a breeze. It features bass and treble tone controls, balance control, and volume control. This can be added to an existing amplifier (as long as you can provide +/-15V supply rails), or in a new build!
