Some friends had this on the back of a Tahoe yesterday; very nice sound considering the size, features, and cost. It looks really cool and the compact BR box had good bass. There is a tweeter which can be seen in the photos.
It is mono, but that wasn't a issue and it plays loud and clear!

I found the $ 180 price tag amazing compared to other brands:
