Hello everyone, I've recently thought about a 40 W / 8 Ohm chipamp and the perfect solution should be the LM2876. According to the datasheet it is totally fine, but if it is that good, why there aren't almost any projects based on it in the Net then? In contrast, 1875, 3875 or 3886 for example are always being discussed. Is 2876 a nice sounding chip, after all?
Lm3875/lm3886
I have never used that chip, But I have used the LM3875/LM3886 and I can say they sound really good, no complaints here!😉.
Right now I am using my LM3875 integrated amp it sounds really good.

the LM2876 looks like a derated version of the LM3886 , it even looks like a drop in replacement for the lm3886 but at a lower supply voltage ... nice to know .... Thanx
