I am looking for high current fast bridge diode to modify +- 125v Switching mode PS. My SMPS -early 80's product-uses CA3524 and 20khz frequency. It is annoying to hear that transformer hum. I want to increase its current 20khz to 40khz or so into inaudible frequency. To do that, I need to replace 3 bridge diodes ( 60, 80 & 120V). I could not find any high current fast bridge diodes on Mouser.com or Digikey.com. Thanks for your info.
Do you have to use a single piece bridge, or do you have room to make one out of discrete diodes?
What is the current rating you need?

Half bridge, yes. Lot's found in TO-220 case. Full bridge not so much, because extra HF transformer windings come easy and have less loss than another two diodes.
I need a full bridge because I do not have any room for discretes. I need 15A or higher.Do you have to use a single piece bridge, or do you have room to make one out of discrete diodes?

If I can not find full bridge, I will settle down with half ones.
