Hi!
I never heared one of Jeff Bagbys Loudspeakers and unhappily I have to say, I think they are very unknown here in Germany.
For me they could be quite fitting, because several of his designs were small ones and thats what I`m in need of.
Now I`ve seen, the Meniscus Store is down.
My question: Are the plans for his speakers (the continuum for example) still available?
Bye
Ralf

The Revolutions both standard (SB15CAC) and Mini (MW13P) and both soft (SB29SDAC) and Be dome (SB29BAC) versions are open source and can be found on the Facebook DIY Loudspeaker Project Pad pages. Also the Helios (WO24P, Be Satori in a wave guide and passive radiator) that he designed with Javad Shadzi can be found on there as well. There may be others on that site if you search, maybe the Helios CM.
yes it is, but you can still dig out a lot of information from the site, with a little effort.Now I`ve seen, the Meniscus Store is down.
Just chose the Continuum example since i'm familiar with the name.
Change dates/saved versions for different years and info.
Search the specific design and dig up the pdfs, like the one i attached below etc. Can be done in archive.org search functions.
There is also a lot of info on the designs, on this site, techtalk/parts express, audiokarma etc.

Hi,
forgive me for using this thread to ask:
does anybody know whether it is possible to run Jeff Bagby's Excel sheets for Loudspeaker Design, especially the Baffle Diffraction and Boundary Simulator, under LibreOffice Calc ?

Nope. To my knowledge it won't do it. However, Unibox is still valid for Excel box modelers.
I recently changed laptops, went to Win11, and Excel 2019. PCD's last software and PCD7 work. RM is not viable any longer. I don't remember the status of WBCD or B&D Sim for my setup, but I can check.

I have the crossover schematics for the Kairos if anybody needs it.An excellent stand mount [sealed] speaker.There is information about making it a three way which I also tried but did not like.The recommended SB 10 inch woofer is horrible.More of a subwoofer than a woofer.

The SB29 has been used in various 3ways, and I've heard several. If tuned too high or used in too small box they can be one-notey and sound very wrong.
Of 3;
Spirit Winds
Helios
Continuums (original)
Middle ground;
Tributes
Revolution (Mistakes I preferred, and not)
That said, these are no slouch;
Quarks
Dreydels
Mandolin
Piccolo (vented I preferred)
Sopranos
LIghtning
Dayton RS-MTM
There was a Morel MTM at one point, don't recall the name.
