A sad day. JW was always true to his craft, and he was a master.
He wasn't "Texas-born" as some report but we claim him and he claims us. And, umm, to me at least "the Texas Tornado" is that other late great Texas guitar player (hint: whose initials aren't SRV).

Besides Jimi Hendrix and Chuck Berry, Johnny Winter is the main person that influenced and inspired me to carry on playing guitar and music when I was at such a young age.
R.I.P~Johnny Winter....I will Forever remember you and feel your wonderful music that you have given to this world!!!!! 🙂
