Hello, recently a good friend of mine, call me and told me you wont believe this, my JPS SUPERCONDUCTOR 2 speaker broke and loose their protector cover, and after he completely removes it, what a surprise, those wires looks like someone made it with materials bought from HOME DEPOT, LOWES home improvement or other hardware store, not to mention oxidation everywhere, low quality soldering, worst skills of cable making.
The wire itself looks like extremely cheap cable soldered to a metal tubing.
Is this a scam?, Another snake oil theory?, or probably a funny joke for 2 thousand dollars speaker wire.
Opinions welcome.

from their website "Alumiloy, the registered trademark of the proprietary conductors used in most of JPS Labs finished audio cable designs, consists of ultra-pure metals and other elements in a patent-pending composite conductor material"
So made of not very pure metals!
So made of not very pure metals!
Alumiloy is supposed to be an alloy of copper and aluminum, So why an audiophile company puts aluminum in their wires? Audiophile quality, I don't think so, Cheaper construction is probably the main reason, We must be very carefull with those companies, specially with speakers wires and inter connectors, A lot of them are truly scammers.
