Just picked up a pair of Kef UniQ drivers and

So you will continue to use the factory crossover for the UniQ but use a DSP high pass to limit its bass so it works mostly as a midrange and above? Why not use all active as a 3 way?

He did not say to use DSP; maybe a good quality analog active filter.
Anyway, the idea is not bad.
To get out the most of the Q150 driver it certainly makes sense to improve it's crossover as it a very basic one with just one coil, capacitor and resistor.
But loudspeaker measuring gear is needed to get somewhere.
Kef LS50 crossover can be found on WWW; it is a good starting point as the drivers are rather comparable T/S wise.

Yes.....the Q150 xo is simple....... but regardless of component count, it sounds fantastic as it is. The trick to this little speaker to appreciate what the UniQ can do is to NOT plug the port and high pass at 120hz.........this cuts down on the mid cone excursion which keeps the high frequencies smooth with complex signals. Take the reflex out of the system and away goes the upper bass congestion.

So i didn’t jump in to measurement and design phase.......I’m selfishly enjoying them as nearfield monitors while....em.....they break in.

I gotta say the phase coherence and imaging are fantastic!.......in the nearfield at reasonable volume......get pump up the volume and once that woofer cone starts moving?.......everything falls apart rather quickly. I set a high pass filter at 100hz and the improvement is dramatic with coherence, but without the bass, it’s boring and lifeless....these NEED woofer support.

I've got a pair of 18" 40Hz "Wharfdale" (China) woofers I need to sell - cheap - PM me if interested. They sounded just fine in my OBs, but I just had to have the $200, 30Hz Goldwoods...

Maybe better technical parameters, but worse construction (stamped vs cast) than the Wharfdales!

I don’t currently have access to my CAD files, here a quick hack to give an extents document for a small UniQ 4 box i did up for a fellow in the UK. 5 litres.
