Klipsch KSW10 subwoofer not working

Hi,
I am a new member and an oldie but not totally ignorant about electronics. However I am looking for some help with this problem.
I have owned this Sub for many years and left it in that faulty condition. Just bought a Yamaha Rx-V773 and hoping to repair this sub and connect it up.
The problem is this:
Pilot light in front stays at green all the time.
No sound output. Took out the amp and had a look. All components do not show any signs of burn or damage However, notice the yellowish (glue) across the LFE sockets are touching across two resistors. In some forum, it has been commented that the (glue?) material may be conductive.
Also if anyone has a schematic drawing, I would appreciate having a look.

I doubt the glue is the problem. Check for DC on the speaker out at idle. If so, check the output transistors. If not, my bet is bad power supply caps. These amps are pretty much built to be disposable unfortunately. If you can't get it going, right now Musician's Friend has a killer deal on a Crown X1000 for 100 bucks. It will kick the dog S*** outta that thing.

Thank you for this prompt response I will investigate your advice ie check the 2 big power capacitors and the two output FETs.
Appreciate your advice on replacement
I do hate when these "designers and engineers" produce the goods under the lightbulb absolescene principle.
If all else fails, I could put another amp in or just buy another sub (about$300).
But I hate to waste.

I also need this schematic for troubleshooting. Not available on the homepage.
The plate unit for the low pass filter and power amp haven't model No.
On the PCB there is to read this:
"indigo 600072" Rev:03
