KT61 testing

Does anyone know the test settings for a KT61 ( EL33 ) on a TV-7D/U? only found the 66 and 88's in my books and searched many a dead end web page 😕

Have you got 6L6 on your machine? It is similar as is EL34.

I am not familiar with the TV7 . The pinout will be the same as 6L6/6V6 but the bias should be set to -4.4V with 250V on both screen and anode for target results of 40mA 10.5mA/V . EL33 is similiar with bias of -6V , 250/250 for target results of 36mA 9mA/V . Hope this helps

Ok, I might have to play around with this, the TV-7 doesn't have have ma and voltage settings as such so I compared a few different tubes......reading is displayed as a value so I'm no better off. Back to the drawing board
