I got my laptop internal speakers damaged. And here in India I could not find any replacement. The speakers are electrically ok. I am attaching pic of the speakers. Pl suggest me simple tip that would make speakers audio-able again. I don't expect it to get back same quality or its TS but should be enough good for voice chat.
The tip like using some kind of glue to patch torn part. or some adhesive tape or something.

What is the speaker impedance (d.c. resistance will give you a good idea of the impedance)?
It looks like the speakers have a foam surround. Not easily repaired.

Its from a Laptop A215-S7413 from toshiba. Its said the speakers are Harman Kardon make.

Maybe you can patch the surround using some thin flexible cloth, smeared with silicone glue (aka RTV, silastic, silicone sealant).
Otherwise, can you scrounge similar speakers from an obsolete laptop, or possibly an old mobile phone?

If you patch surround the rest of it will just fail sooner or later.
I don't know if you can buy foam surrounds that small, you could attempt to make a doped cloth replacement surround, but it would be tricky.
If that is a 1" driver there are a couple of nice ones at partsexpress and they should ship to India.

It is hard to replace a laptop speaker because they are often afixed to the required "box" in a manner that makes it difficult to swap anything in... that said i have lots of little laptop drivers, and would be happy to post some if they are appropriate size. Whatever i have the drivers won't necessarily be perfect for the boxes you have to fit them in.

Dave you said it right. we can not replace laptop speakers by any easily available speakers. sometime back when my mom and dad were at US, I bought a pair from ebay, which were said to match my laptop. when my parents got them to India, I found they didn't match. So my search went on for solution.
Dave,I deeply thank you for your such readiness to help. I shall surely get back to you if my current solution fails again.
Solution: I took a bigger adhesive tape cut it much bigger than the diameter of the speaker diaphragm. pressed it against the AA size battery's end. this gave it a bit of conical shape.
then I carefully glued the tape to the cone. and the rest part to the frame of speaker.
This solution worked well for me. I mean, I got what I was looking for. this sounds really ok. vocals can be well followed. the problem is with bass. but then Its ok for me. Now at-least I can use the internal speakers for video calls.

I did try, they say we do not have speakers for this model. I even visited Toshiba service centers here (Pune). They flatly refused.
