I have a pair that I made a PAP trio clone with. It’s a very quick and detailed driver. Needs a compensation for the rising hf but was very easy to integrate with helper/augmentation woofers at 220hz. I was bitten and upgraded to the Crystal 10’s and have been extremely pleased. The 10’s are smoother than the fast 8 and tick more boxes for satisfaction and balance for me. I’m selling my trio clones as I just finished my larger system. I think they are an insanely good value. I hear the cabinets are very good for the 10’s and the Decware crowd loves the cabinet implementation with the Silver 10. They have many versions too and seem to change specs frequently. I have a friend with the fast 15’s and it’s amazing how balanced they are as well.

I run the F15 into huge Karlsonators I made. That big, the front wings restrain the volume and the imaging so I took them out and it is lovely.
I push these with the F5 (Firstwatt) recommanded to me by Nelson himself few years ago now.

Awesome. I already have one of your 6-24 crossovers built. I may build the Speaker Camp SLOB with the Fast 8 and play with the 6-24 crossover I have to tune it. I could use my F5 for the Fast 8 and I also have an F5 Turbo that should be enough for the bass driver. Maybe I'm closer than I thought to getting a lot of closet space back. Thanks for pointing me to the Speaker Camp design PDF.

Enjoyed my Crystal 10 for quite a while in my OB.

Recently went through another renovasome Sonido FC that were too reasonable to not to try.

Changed over to a modular upper panel and pushed things to mimic Leonidas dimensions and design a bit more.

This was a project I built with scrap wood and IKEA shelves I found out to the curb several years back. It keeps evolving and getting better.

The Crystals will make an encore on a bigger upper panel like the Sonido.

I’m also working on a compact “Trio” concept with dual AE Dipole 18.

Idea is to slot load the lower woofer a la Papa’s Speaker Camp design to make the panels a little less domineering in this smaller sunroom system.
