LTspice: charging a capacitor

Am I losing my mind? Why am I not seeing a typical capacitor charge curve here? A 1000uF is not instantaneously charged to 6V. What am I missing?

Derp, there is an option explicitly to start DC supplies at 0V.

Unfortunately, Wine appears to be causing a rendering error under Linux: some of these GUI elements don't appear until the mouse cursor passes over them (and forces them to re-paint).

Another rendering error example I've noticed: the column headers don't appear in this table until you click on one of the headers to sort by that column.

Its normal to use a 'pulse' function for the 12V source you have in post #1.

I also noticed rendering errors many years ago when I ran under Wine on Ubuntu.
