MA12070 SCH PCB

I made it. And I have several chips. But I'm still not interested in assembling it.
I don't think this product is suitable for DIY. It is more suitable for Xiaomi and Huawei. Or other industrial products.
I provide Sch PCB information. If anyone is interested, he can process it.

In addition, I want to explain. I don't like the X7R capacitor of 06030805.
In my use. More than one year later, 20% of X7R capacitors were damaged.
I prefer CBB aluminum electrolytic capacitor. OSCON capacitor.
So I'm really not interested in making these products. I don't think amplifiers are pure industrial products.
Half of it is art equipment.
Even if it is class D. Nor should it be made into industrial products.
For example, arc ds225, dsi200

Yes there definitely is noise/hiss when using the chip with unbalanced passive inputs so one of the input caps to GND per channel. The caps going from pins 22/24 to GND. This is not IRS2092S or iraudamp7s. It is MA12070 that performs best either with balanced inputs (that not many use in this price class) or with active unbalanced to balanced convertor. That can be 2 extra opamps or passive with unbalanced to balanced transformers etc. Decoupling and coupling caps really should be something better as you say yourself too. Higher voltage rated and minimum X7R so in larger sizes than 0603/0805. Film caps would be very original!

It is not an opinion but simple observation. Even the cheap BRZHiFi amplifier has the opamps for unbalanced to balanced conversion.

I believe Maty was looking for more power from MA12070, not irs2092.
High power requires a dedicated MOSFET.
Large heat sinks are required. Therefore, high power cannot be integrated in one chip.
Unless the chip is very large.
This is contradictory in itself.
It's like trying to use a Jetta car. After modification, it can be used to pull 2 tons of goods.
We have thought of many ways to improve Jetta.
But why not buy a truck. This is to add trouble to yourself.
Maybe this is the meaning of DIY.

It seems best to forget it when one is not motivated at all. Lost time and energy when only a half attempt has been done.
I will arrange time to see if I can make it. But maybe it can only be processed.
I hope Xiaomi will come. Or Huawei will not produce the same products.
Xiaomi may be able to sell finished products for $5. Adopt chips made in China. Who knows.
These products are more like capitalists' batch chemicals.

Point is that specifically this very chip is the reason for any attempt to build a device with it. It seems to perform better than the average class D chip.

Till now many of the cheap chinese designs with it excel in omissions, costcutting and errors. True waste of resources and materials.

At this website not many are interested in who produces what in which numbers as most will only use one amplifier at home and that one should be good.

Hence my personal desire to see what the chip is capable of when implementation is impeccable/best of class.

I have heard more than 100 people say that this is the best amplifier.
But now these amplifiers have been forgotten. Especially class D amplifier.
I remember 20 years ago, it cost about $30 to make an lm3886 pcb+ic.
Now make a set of lm3886 amplifier. It may cost $40.
The class D amplifier made 20 years ago. It may also cost $30.
And now it's worthless. However, I estimate that the lm3886 amplifier will also cost $30 or more 20 years later. And it will still be used. I'm not sure if ma12070 is used.
I don't sell lm3886. This chip is really too expensive now.
I'm just remembering.
In addition, thd does not mean anything.
If DIY is the smallest thd amplifier. It should be lm4702.
It's easy to make,about thd =0.0003%.
But in fact, I once made lm4702bta.
There is no special effect. It's not even as simple as the circuit I designed.
And now few people in the world use lm4702

Yes all good things come to an end. Technical stuff becomes obsolete/superseded. It is like that. Factories need to produce, stuff needs to be replaced so longevity is not required. Tens of thousands of people are busy everyday producing throw away garbage …

But we are here in the now 😉 We can make something very good just because we can. Not fast, not cheap, not costcutting, simply good.
