Meanwell LRS-150-24 SMPS Issue?

I hooked up a Meanwell LRS150-24 SMPS to a TDA7498E and it made music - for about 5 minutes! Then it shuts off. If I leave it off for several minutes, it restarts. Is the unit defective?

p.s. I know enough to be dangerous.....attaching photo

Dangerous!! :yikes::yikes:
According to the datasheet, a major reason for shut-down is temperature. Does it appear to be hot?
Is it always around 5 minutes or more random? The datasheet mentions over-voltage as another reason for shutdown. You have quite a long wire between the SMPS and the amplifier. You have no buffer capacitor on the connection between the SMPS and amplifier. Lastly, you do not use a resistive dummy load in parallel with the amplifier. These three factors could help solving your problem.
