I caved in and got a used Metcal SP440 (I love my MX500). Lifting a pad along with the snap cap I was removing was the final straw, although cutting things apart and removing them a pin at a time was also motivating.
What sort of filter (chamber liner, filter, in-line filter) life can I expect in terms of solder joints? IOW, if I bought a Metcal/Costco DP-CF 12 filter/24 liner economy pack how many would I want to resell?
