Hi Folks!
My flat has been too quiet and too cold of late. So I thought it was high time I got my Musical Fidelity A1000 out of storage, and give the old girl a bit of TLC.
I've had the unit since new, but it needs a good clean and is a great excuse to do some work for myself for a change.
However, someone may have been in it (I don't remember ever having work done on it). Or it was modded at the factory before I purchased it.
There's Philips 1uf Film Cap across pins on two of the ZVN4206E's. They look wrong, but also look like they've been put there by someone who know's what they are doing. All the caps are getting replaced
The problem is, the solder has run down into the sockets and now I can't get them out. So I need to find two IC's to replace these, any ideas on finding replacements.
Kind Regards
