Hi I have a pair of the original mission 752 speakers and they're now sounding very bright. I have been using them as Subs for my home cinema as well as music using a Cyrus 8vs2. I don't believe I've broken the drive units since I've not driven them *that* hard.
I suspect the electrolytic capacitor in the LF crossover has dried up which I believe will allow more HF into the bass unit. Easy to change and test apart from the printed value appears to be 15mF which I don't believe 15uF is more likely.
Does anyone know the true value? or confirm my suspicions.
Many thanks in advance
