guys and gals,
from recent experience, what is the consensus from the group into the best bang for buck 2.1 channel amp boards out there on ebay/amazon or other?
i recently got one, which i don't like how it sounds, but only need to power a pair of ND65's and a mid woofer (as the sub) in a small Boombox.
I saw this one, which looks alright, but as i found out with my last ebay attempt, looks can sometimes be deceiving.

doesn't have to be the most powerful thing out there, just enough to get some small 2's and a 4 thumping away in a small box. I just want to here from folks who have used an ebay board and happy with them, would recommend it and if they still have the link.
currently using a DTA-2 2*15 and with just the ND65's makes the poor little things distort, so i thought i would relieve some of the stress by introducing a woofer.

Which board do you have now?
I have 2 of these as I liked the first one so much; the variable low pass for the sub, switchable high pass for tops and treble control are very nice: TPA3116 2.1 Digital Audio Amplifier Board HIFI DC 12-24V BASS Speaker 50W*2+100W 767775830347 | eBay - $20
There are a number of very similar boards. i.e. mirrored layout, bluetooth (read it has hiss), different output caps (Aiyima). I have no experience with those.

Maybe you had just bad luck like I had with burning the tpa3255 chip on my evm board.......for which I still have no good explanation for what or why it happened. 😡
