so wondering if its any use to shield the smps
& transformers from the ciruits
Sorry if its in the wrong forum but notsure

I would recommend to read this wikipedia article before considering mu metal for diy magnetic shielding. Note the need for annealing in hydrogen atmosphere if you ever bend the material. IMO, it is useless for diyer unless you buy a ready made shield in its final shape produced industrially. And even then it mostly relevant for low frequency shielding.

Thank you Oleg. Yes this is what I understand about Mu Metal.
Sinca it is in sheets with adhesive backing. Was just wondering
if it is any good just to line the box.
Thanks again

Mu metal, if used, should be around the sensitive circuit not the source of the interference. In almost all cases it is not needed for audio. Exceptions might be instrumentation or input transformers (e.g. for microphones).
Use distance, orientation, wire twisting etc. to achieve the same result.
