My term-contract job ended, and I'm planning to move for my next engagement, when I find one. I'm realizing that I'm never going to do anything with the big old Sound City chassis I bought on eBay. The big partridge transformers for 6 EL34's are worth a lot, but I didn't pay a lot. So I listed it in the 'for sale' section, thought someone from the instruments forum might be interested in a really good deal. Make me an offer, I need the money. Buyer pays shipping.

I'm kind of surprised no one jumped at this. Is ti missing any other components except the tubes and potentiometers? (and housing, obviously. Easily built)
It's all there except for one insulating input jack and the power pilot light, the pots are all there but one has a broken plastic shaft. The bat is broken off of the power switch. It's definitely rebuildable or worth far more as parts than I'm willing to take. It's got reverb in & out jacks in the back. I've got a small Sound City logo panel I'll throw in. If you're interested let me know, before I put it on eBay. Your location is important, as shipping will not be cheap.
for comparison this one on eBay has a buy-it-no of $1200: Vintage 1972 Sound City L120 Mark 4 Custom Built Amplifier | eBay
Here's just a replacement US copy of the coveted Partridge output transformer, for $400: Sound City 120R Output Transformer and Choke New Made in USA | eBay
Here's a beat-up bass version which is about the same, in a British listing, for $816 USD: Vintage Guitar Mic Valve Tube 120W Power Amplifier Sound City B120 Base Master | eBay
Here's the same Reeves-designed chassis in a differently-branded case, for $1237.73 USD:

Thank you cyclecamper,
alas, I have nooo money at all. I'd be able to make a sub-200$ offer, which is not including shipping. And the worst is that I wouldn't really have time for it now.
shipping to Canada, on something this heavy? 100$ minimum. I sent a 23 pound box to Illinois the other day it cost 50$. The sound City is probably close to 40 pounds, I'd imagine.
Then there are the tubes. Granted, I probably wouldn't put six KT88s (I'm just going by memory here) in it, but I'd need a couple of decent 12AX7, so that's at least 75$ of tubes dirt cheap, right there.
Then the time to fix it, which I don't have.
Maybe someday I'll regret not having bought an amplifier like this. However the reality now is I can't. But Thanks.
I think it would end up on ebay even if I bought it!

I took it with me as I moved from west coast to east coast. It's still for sale, now located in Virginia near DC.
No reasonable offers refused. Common great idea is to make this into a hiwatt preamp but pushing 6 EL34's instead of 4, which makes a really nice amp.
I have one of these amps in storage. It is a beast of an amp, more clean headroom than any amp I've heard, just a ferocious blast of clean guitar sound and it's built like a tank. Mine needed all the power supply caps replacing when it arrived but even so it's a huge amount of amp for very little money.
