NAD 3020b-service manual

Was searching for "alignment instructions" and after reading many pdfs and posts on the web I found this but it doesn't mention is it is for the 3020 "A", "B" "E" or whatever but...

The one thing I hate about these amplifiers is the lack of emitter resistors. I usually add them because it makes the amplifier much more robust when the outputs are replaced with modern devices. It also makes measuring and setting the idle current very easy.
 
What Mark said. The past few times I have done it, I have used 3W metal oxide film types.

On some versions of the PCB, there are actually places for the resistors to be fitted, but they are bridged with wire links. On some versions, you need to cut the PCB track and fit the resistors to the underneath of the board.
