Just found it

If you eliminate the differences between the 3020 and the 3020B you could still use the 3020 idle current alignment as an example which does start at =1 at least it gives you an idea.

yes this is the copy i have, and it also starts with number '5'
yep i may have to if i cant find a coplete copyIf you eliminate the differences between the 3020 and the 3020B you could still use the 3020 idle current alignment as an example which does start at =1 at least it gives you an idea.
Your right had a look and the setup procedure starts at "point" 5 and I never noticed it there most be a page missing sorry.
The one thing I hate about these amplifiers is the lack of emitter resistors. I usually add them because it makes the amplifier much more robust when the outputs are replaced with modern devices. It also makes measuring and setting the idle current very easy.
Any luck ?
No mate not at all. I'm trying to find a copy of the original to buy, if one exists
A guy from Brechin on Audiokarma seems to agree with me that the differences between the 3020 and the "B" model aren't major -

which emitters would you be fitting therm to.the output transistors? The one thing I hate about these amplifiers is the lack of emitter resistors. Yes, the 2N3055/2N2955 outputs - these old transistors had so much emitter-spreading resistance you could get away without external resistance I think - not a shortcut you can get away with in modern devices. 0.22R 5W non-inductive are typical.
What Mark said. The past few times I have done it, I have used 3W metal oxide film types.
On some versions of the PCB, there are actually places for the resistors to be fitted, but they are bridged with wire links. On some versions, you need to cut the PCB track and fit the resistors to the underneath of the board.
