I have recently acquired an old Naim Nait amp.
Would anyone have a circuit diagram of this amp or a site where I can download one.
Thanks.

Thanks very much GEirin. I take it that all the Nait models were similar as the date on the circuit is much later than the model I have.
Also, do you happen to have the circuit for the Pre-amp & the power supply as this would be appreciated.

Ok I am planning to clone Naim nap 140 can I put BC639/640 as replacement for ZTX etc. and when powering amp trim pot must be set on max or min resistance. And when adjusting bias I must observe voltage drop on output transistors? Input transistors must be matched? Thanks
Beware, the Nait circuit is only similar to the one posted - you will have to trace your own to discover the differences. The Avondale NCC200 schematic is a development based on Naim's '250' power amp circuit and chnages a couple of details completely in the input stage, completely omits the SOA protection etc.
Just trace the NAIT circuit yourself - it does not take long.

I owned one of the original Naits when they came out. It didn't last long. With all of 15W it sounded nice but could not do loud, as I remember. It was replaced by a Tandberg 3012 integrated amp, which in turn was replaced by a 32/SNAPS/250 that is still around.
