Does anybody know if Narrow Band Technology transformers by Plitron are still available somewhere? Or is there any equivalent produced by Noratel or someone else? I tried contacting Noratel, but they don't seem to be interested in answering my emails.... I want to use one as an isolating transformer for my audio stack, need ~2,5kVA one, 230:230V.
Sure I did, but Torus sell power conditioners that include such transformer, and I want just the transformer, without the package, and in a different configuration.
I also found a thread from 2015 on this forum, where a user with nickname "columbus" mentions he did buy such transformer, that was 10 years ago however, and he is sadly long time inactive.

And buying the conditioner for just the transformer isn't great value...
Narrow band technology has nothing to do with Tourus Power, they just use plitron transformers with it to make power conditioners. It's Plitron intellectual property, not Torus. And I want to make a balanced power source for my audio stack using Plitron NBT power transformer. Torus conditioner is not a balanced power source. There is no commercial product that has what I want. Thats why I want to DIY it.
However, since Noratel bought Plitron company, I have trouble buying the transformer I need. I had a lot of luck in the past contacting knowledgeable people via this forum, that helped me a lot with sourcing obsolete parts etc. and I hoped for the same now.
So Nico- If you are Plitron, please sell me the transformer you make for the price you charge for it, thats exactly what I want.

Any transformer company will make you a 230:230VAC IE core TRANSFORMER at 600VA just ask nothing special. You can tailor the narrow band by using suitable 360V capacitors on the primary and secondary.

It's their patented technology. They wound another secondary in opposite direction and connect it via a cap, but It feels like stealing to implement this in a custom transformer. You can read about it here if u want.
