Need help building a DC Filter

Hers one I designed years ago and sold loads.
Conn1 1 and 3 and are live in then live out.

yes designes dont seem to difffer that much, capacitors + diodes and some use a additional film bypass cap

im wondering whats best
1, 4 caps or 2 caps in series
2. 4 vs 6 diodes
3. bypass cap
4. capacitor values ( more = better? )
specially regarding sound quality

which diodes and capacitors are in particular good here?

There was probably useful info in your related thread from last year:
https://www.diyaudio.com/community/threads/searching-for-the-best-emi-dc-filter.391556/

You can find other threads including projects others have built, tested and reviewed. Some still might be selling boards and parts. There's lots here but you need to turn on your search magic mojo ... search around using other keywords; for example: DC blocking, DC filter, humming toroid, noisy toroid, growling toroid, etc.

I'm guessing it might be a really good idea for you to take a look at Rod Elliot's writings on this topic.

Remember there is high voltage involved in these circuits, so BE CAREFUL!!!

yea i still havent decided and actually forgot i created this thread before
i got the thel audio emi filter for cheap used already so i might just go with the thel dc filter
im currently planning out my build of a power distributor, unfortunaly good information on how to do things properly "audiophile" are kinda sparse and i believe that different emi filters will sound different since i noticed it already

if i plan to build my own dc filter, what capacitor/diode product lines are good? it doesnt have to be dirt cheap... good cost/performance parts
