Need urgend help with bridged TPA 3116 Yuan Jing 2.0 Boards

Hello guys,

time has passed. The last time i opened diyAudio everything was blue and looked like the 2000s of the Internet... Nice to write something again in the new environment.

I have an old bluetooth speaker with a Yuan Jing 2.0 TPA3116 (black board) which is bridged to mono.

I wanted to modify my source/dsp section and disassambled the box. Since everything is lying on my desk the TPA doesnt work anymore. It just goes into protection mode when i connect a speaker to it. Which is very bad because i`m going on a 10 day vacation trip and as always i`m responsible for the music...

I must have destroyed something but cant find the mistake. Can someone provide me the instruction for bridging the TPA 3116 and the schematic? Back then i bridged it myself and i would bet that i just ripped something off.

Sorry for the bad english and greetings from Germany.

So it looks like that i have bridged the left Input and connected it to the ground from the large Cap. I removed the 1uF Input cap from Input R and soldered it to the back of the PCB connecting only one pin. The other Pin functions as Input for the negativ Input. The positive signal Input is connected directly to the large Cap of Right IN. The Outputs are shorted and R_Out is used for the positve L_Out is used for the negative Output.

Is this the way it was supposed to be or is here something wrong?

^This is already an bridged amp. You can not bridge it for a second time.
There is a PBTL mode, wich parallels the two bridged amps. This does not give more power, it only enabels the amp to drive loads that are lower than 4 Ohms, down to 2 Ohms.
I can not explain what you did, as it is simply electrical nonsense and I dont have any intend to discuss mistakes. If it really once worked, it was still done wrong.
As there are only passive components on the board, except for the amp chip, it is done, finished, kaputt.
Oder your self something like this, as it is in PBTL (mono) mode and you can not do any stupid modifications:

If you still want stereo, this board is also a good working version:

You may still get it in time, if you are quick, take care of the delivery time.

Or short in German: Kauf was neues, Du hast es kaputt gebastelt mit völlig idiotischen Modifikationen. Die beiden Modell die ich Dir bei Amazon zeige sind sehr gute, preiswerte Ausführungen.
