I want to fit 2 of these to two different h/amps - do you think I can find a single picture/diagram to show L/R/E connections.
I plan to use them with the solder tangs upwards. The earth is the 3rd, farthest away from the chassis plate? You would think Neutrik would have this info on their site - no way. Wasted 2 hours on the web - no luck - anyone?

I bet it has standard TRS wiring so Neutrik wouldn't bother to put it on their site. Tip is left channel, ring is right and sleeve is ground. Looking from front plate: ground, right, left.
Bamboszek - you've given me the jack connections. There are literally hundreds of diagrams/pictures of jack connections - what I need are the socket connections and I could'nt find a single one.
I'm fairly certain that the third - farthest away from the chassis plate is ground/earth but the others?

Part of the data sheet problem you had is that the jack is TRS, not specifically "stereo". In my pro audio work, I usually don't have those jacks in a "stereo" circuit. I find them used for other things like footswitch jacks, signal path insert jacks (send adn return, rather than left and right), and so on.
If there is a ground connection to the jack, it is almost always to the sleeve.

Enzo,
thanks for that, I did'nt realise that when I bought them. here's the thing - if i insert a jack the first two sections/tangs lift leaving just the first in contact, so I infer this is the earth connection.
I shall solder the earth to this and suck and see with the other two.

Enzo,
they are stereo PCB mount, using them upside down makes soldering the signal wiring much easier.

Salut.
It look like the MZT-223 part is from Monacor.

All the positions are switched, you have to chose the correct terminals.

if i insert a jack the first two sections/tangs lift leaving just the first in contactOn stereo mixers with jacks when You connect only the Left channel, the signal is also passed to the right channel. I suppose perhaps it's designed for this function.
MAACo, thanks for that.
Chartal - all the positions are switched, you have to choose the correct terminals - exactly my problem.
Here's another related question - am I right in assuming a jack socket should be earthed?
I've removed the redundant pot and it's PCB in the D/Voice and was astounded to find that what I assume is the earth tang from the existing jack socket was soldered to the PCB and that the solder point was connected to nothing - why bother.

That very much depends upon the circuit it is used in.
For example, a headphones jack may be wired right off the speaker terminals, but have a common resistor to earth from the sleeve. It all depends upon the design.
In the jack, the contacts that lift open can be used for various things. As input jacks, those might earth the inputs when the jack is empty. As output, as MAACO suggest, they could cross couple left and right for automatic mono
