Newest lubrication for those noisy snakes

"Resonance control"... Wow. Before I worry about resonances in the cover plates on my electrical outlets, I think I'll apply some resonance control to one of the pictures on the wall in my listening room (which is also my living room). It rattles under some circumstances when a plane or helicopter flies overhead. Maybe I should move to a place with a quieter furnace too.

I saw one of those AudioQuest cords in use at RMAF 2019 and just quietly shook my head. Of course, that power cord will make all the difference. Especially when fed by a few hundred meter of AWG 12 Romex in a cavernous hotel. #whatever... 🙂

When I was 3 years old in 1960 my sister who was 12 taught me to stick knives in electrical outlets, good thing that the outlet covers were made out
of stainless steel back then and the only thing that happened was all the lights in the house went out.
Or how I was first fascinated by electricity.
I think that they went for $0.15 at the time.
Inflation.

In my home, I use the white plastic wall plates, and down in my basement shop and garage the steel ones.
I've no issue with so-called "interference" or silly derived nonsense that these snake oil sales talk about.
It's BS, plain and simple.
