In summary: the more lumens the better. A minimum of 4000 for reasonable results, don't be tempted by cheaper 2000 lumens models, you will be disappointed. You can get OHPs up to 11000 lumens but these cost $$$$! 4000 is a good price/performance compromise.
Triplet optics will give a sharper picture as well. The quieter the cooling fan the better too, especially if you will be using the projector in a relatively small room. As you suggest a bulb changer is a good feature if you ewant uninterrupted viewing.
I use a 3M 1750. It's quite large but gives all the above features at a relatively cheap price. The 3M 9000 series is similar in spec but in a smaller package.
I bought my 1750 new as www.saville-av.com have them at the incredibly cheap price of 172 UKP + VAT (free delivery). They may well deliver to Holland. It came with a free OHP trolley that I sold on eBay for 50 UKP!

I had an Eiki with 4000 Lumens and I agree that this is the min. I just ordered a ElMO with 7300 Lumens, it uses a 575 MH bulb which cost about $100 US to replace but last alot longer, in the end the cost per hour of the bulbs is about the same. 4000 Lumens is good but you'll probably end up wanting more.
