How does the power supply compare to that in a JL 500/1?

The RD1000 is 494-based. Drivers are 3904 and 3906 to 3205's.

500/1 is 3525 -based drivers are uy and wy to IRFV44N.

Same basic structure though.

The 500 used a 10 ohm resistor. I never changed it when I used 3205s. If the amp has less than 8 3205s, I think a 10 ohm would be OK. Some one else may have the right value resistor.
