I'm all new to this forum hoping for some help with me trusty amp.
I bought this amplifier from Dubai where they have 220 Volts with 50Hz cycles, but i'm now moved back to Canada where it's 110V with 60Hz cycles electricity.The unit does have the voltage selector to select the voltage like 220V-240V and 110V-120V and i'm using 110V-120V.
For some reason when i turn on the unit, it turns ON with all the lights etc but it's the Speaker protection Relay is not Clicking (not completing the circuit to pass the current).
Is the because of the more Voltage Hz cycles as it was made to get 50Hz but here in Canada it's 60Hz or is the Relay unit itself which is now faulty for no reason all of the sudden ? I could be wrong but the unit was working perfectly fine in Dubai before i moved back. I have attached the pictures of the circuit and the Relay as well as the the service manual with diagram.

Please measure the red line supply voltage for the relay(not sure it is 42V or 33V in the schematic and the relay need a 24V and around 20mA~24mA working current), if you have a 33V to 35V voltage, then you short the resistor R719(or R720) is ok.
If your voltage is between 42V to 35V, you also short R719 and remove both R721 and R722 and you should replace with a 1W suitable value single resistor.
If your voltage is between 42V to 35V, you also short R719 and remove both R721 and R722 and you should replace with a 1W suitable value single resistor.

Hi patrick, thanks for the suggestion, question : the speaker protection relay is powered through Q701 to Q706 transistors, which look at the Voltage across the speaker output, it should be zero volts compared to ground ?
On page 10 if i locate the relay and measure the Voltages at the changeover terminals, what if one channel is faulty giving over 1.5V. The Power supply is a +/- 66V ?

The frequency of the mains, makes no difference. The transformer is happy either way.
Check you have zero volts DC on L701 and L702 first.

You said your amp is working ok and you just changed AC operating voltage, so that I assume your amp is ok and suggest to check the relay circuit supply rail voltage.
If the amp is working normal (no DC out at both output), the Q706 will turn on and drive the relay(turn on speaker output) to ground when the amp is working(playing music). If the supply rail voltage(red line) is lower, then current resistors network cannot supply enough current to turn on the relay(not relay click). If in such case, we have to change the supply resistor value.
