plate amps for diy active subs?

Are there any good low cost class D plate mount amps available to build into a sub? Something equivilant to one side of a nu6000?

A 3kW plate amp? NO WAY

Drive your sub from an external NU6000 and there we are talking something realistic.

Or dramatically lower your power expectations; maybe 500W will fit.

I have not purchased any audio equipment from the vendors on this site(it's china's Ebay) but I have purchased quite a number of pro LED lighting fixtures(pars, moving heads, controllers) here and they all work as expected and have been reliable.
