I have just purchased a foldable Nobo 509 ohp, with a sharp qa-1150, but I cannot see a thing, there is a slight image but it is no where near viewable, is this because of the type of projector???
it doesnt work with these kind of overheads. you need a version without mirror and a light underneath the panel
I don't think the projector he's talking about is an opaque projector, unless my facts are totally off.
I've seen an opaque projector in action, and I have to say. "whoa."
That thing was a HUGE metal machine that BLASTED light so intense on a sheet of paper, you could project straight thru it.
This was many years ago, and really these things are kinda lame since you couldn't have double sided pages. Come to think of it, this was so long ago, that at the time copy machines used that purple stuff that gives you cancer.
But I bet if you got one and put an LCD in it, assuming it didn't melt, you would have a hard core projector.

Gamma Ditto machines I believe they called em when I was in first grade, MAde purple Ink copies, LOL they cause cancer???? thats Crazy I remember the teachers running off to the " Ditto machine"😱 😀
opaque projectors will project images of non-transparant pictures... Like magazine clippings or the like.
The light shines on the surface of the picture and is reflected... Instead of behind.

One of the oP sites lists it, and its replacement bulb as transparancy projector.
Kinda confusing, but I guess and opaque projector could project a transparancy as well.

Or even do a little experiment for us. Put an opaque image on it and see if it projects. 🙂
