PPI never sold out, they went bankrupt along with ADS and Orion. All were on the auction block together. PPI is now owned by another company, but for a while they were owned by Directed Electronics before their new latest owners. They never had anything to do with MTX except PPI made some of MTX's very first amps way back in the late 80's, but PPI made amps fora bunch of different end user names back then. But MTX never owned them...
MTX never owned PPI.Directed(DEI)bought PPI and Orion but but sold PPI not long after.
The A1200.2 or 2350 would be the most powerful.
However PPI did make some amps for MTX,Sansui,Crutchfield and yes, even Pyramid.

They made a bigger amp as I recall it was special one off kind of thing, really huge I think it was a 2500 or something like that.

onemoreamp is right the largest they ever made was the 2500f1 it was a work of art . beautiful amp.
I totally forgot about that amp. They only made 15 and they were not for sale to the public. The power supply was a separate board on the bottom of the amp with plexi also.I remember reading somewhere that 2 were made with the serial #01 but didnt understand what that was all about.
