Pre-(Line-)Amp with RE074

Hello DIY'ers,

has anyone experiences with the RE074 tube. I will build a Line-Preamp. I think that the RE074 has similar datas like the 1H4GT or the #30:

I will build a battery heater for the filaments 4 V/60mA.

This is an amazing tube, extremely linear, very rich tonally and very very quiet, without any microphonics. I am now working on a tubey power supply for the filament of this triode, as it only needs ~60 mA of DC.
If you are curious on what this tube can really do for you, try to find a piece and start playing. It is very very rare these days but if you have an uncle in Germany, then maybe he can do something for you...
