I have been using a Presonus Temblor T10 subwoofer for the past 3 years. It used to work just fine, until it has been kept idle for about a year now. When I use it now, the Volume knob behind the sub has become so sensitive, that I can't go more than one mm from -30dB.
The woofer gets too loud and distorts. Does the volume pot need to be changed? If so, where do I get some schematic to know the value of the pot?

Maybe the pot corroded a bit. Crank the knob back and forth quickly 10-20 times and check if it works again. If you need a new pot just take out the old one, check for markings or measure it.
The volume pot on the Presonus Temblor T10 subwoofer is a 10k ohm potentiometer. You can find the schematic for the subwoofer online or by contacting Presonus support.I have been using a Presonus Temblor T10 subwoofer for the past 3 years. Some tips:
Make sure to disconnect the subwoofer from power before starting.
Take pictures of the wiring before disconnecting anything.
Solder the new potentiometer in place, making sure to match the polarity.
Test the subwoofer after replacing the pot to make sure it works properly.
I did. Did not help turning the potMaybe the pot corroded a bit. Crank the knob back and forth quickly 10-20 times and check if it works again. If you need a new pot just take out the old one, check for markings or measure it.
