Hi,
I've got a couple of ProAc Tablette 50's. rated at 89db sensitivity & 20-150 Watts
I've read some where that they are designed to be driven by valve amps. Is that true? What is the min & ideal Output wattage?
Thanx

Had the use of a pair many years ago, I do believe that they were designed with tube amps in mind.. They will work quite well with any amplifier in the cited power range of 20 - 150W per channel. I was using them with a 60w per channel (tube) amplifier.
...but for shure they don't have 89dB sensitivity with a 11cm midbass.
I'd guess more like 82-83dB...
And the only reason that they might be designed with valve amps in mind is that they have a flat impedance response. Everything else is marketing speak...
Just my two eurocent,
Oliver 😉
