Quarter wave resonator Q

Hello, somebody knows how i can calculate the Q of a quarter wave resonator (a tube with one open end), without measuring it ?

Im looking to do 1/4 wave resonator array for absorbtion so i would want to be able to test different configuration without having to build them each time.

thanks a lot !

thanks allan ! just to be sure, it is the same formula as a helmoltz resonator ?

I assume the same math works as if making a quarter-wave speaker.

It is not the same as a helmholtz resonator. This confusion also arrises when discussing why an ML-TL is different than a BR.

Q has little meaning outside of a sealed box.

I would take a quarter-wave modeler and just model your thingy.
