Hey guys, I have an older pair of Vienna Acoustics Bach floor speakers. I need to replace the drivers. I have called Vienna of NA and they say that the driver is not produced anymore. They replaced it with the new Bach Grand and the outer diameter of the driver is a little bit larger. Has anyone rebuilt a pair of these? What drivers are you using now? Thanks
What's wrong with the drivers? Probably a specialist shop is able to repair them.
I'd do a Google search for speaker repair.
If you really need new items, I'd simply remove them and have a look at the rear,
but if your Bach look like these, then the mid-woofers were SEAS-made - I guess.

If so you'd probably find them here:

Another option is wait for NOS or used but working units float up on ebay. It takes patience but worthwhile when you want to replace with original units and there is no other option. (Even re-coning/replacing the spider trap by a specialist etc will not have it match the identical measured specs of a NOS/original driver).
Don't take effort on this question. After starting this topic kunzjob not even once
took the time to visit the forum. Seems he's vastly interested.

ticktock...thanks for the useful response and the useless response as well. I'm sorry I have a life outside of this forum. I regret not checking this thread every hour.

Yes, I'm subscribed.
If you have drivers that are blown, perhaps you are playing with amps and fried the voice coils you can have them rebuilt, perhaps ewven locally depending on where you are. Sometimes they have to replace the cone as well as it cant be seperated cleanly. Dont do it if thats the case. Your best bet is to watch ebay though...might take a while for the woofers to show up. I believe the vienna stuff is all proprietary with the clear cones and all that.
