Hi all!
I am new here and need an advice. I recently got this Luxman CD player from a friend's father but came without the remote control. Is there any way to find a remote control or a substitute for it? (including phone app as a last solution)
Thank you in advance!

The only thing I could suggest is that you try some common Philips RC5 based remotes as these can often work all kinds of makes and models. If it is Philips based it is worth trying. Try one of those 'All in One' or 'Three in One' remotes if you have one and that were popular years ago and that operated countless different TV's VCR's AND Audio systems. Those that came with a book of codes. You might get a clue and be able to match it to something more easily available.
I have an old Micromega player and the remote on that works Sugden CD players for example and many others beside. That is Philips based.

Hi Mooly, thank you very much for your fast and helpful message! You made me curios so I opened it and looks like on the laser motor it reads Sanyo, is this means that there is big chance will not work with that remotes that you suggested? (I have to buy one in order to try, don't have any universal remote in home)
Thank you again!
Thank you again!

You can't say for sure, however based on that it does make it less likely tbh. If it is Philips based it would use a Philips chip set and you would see things like TDA and SAA prefixed chips in the main circuitry. I can't turn much up at all on this player I'm afraid.

can you post pictures of the circuit boards to help identify the mfr of sub-assemblies?
per web search of "luxman cd ir codes" someone using luxman A-383 stereo integrated amp remote controller with D-355 cd player.

AND a list of hex codes, which might be usable to program a universal remote that allows for entry of hex codes
