I am looking for very special replacement parts, which are in use inside in several Alps input selector switches. The naming of this parts I don't know.
This parts are show in the first both images under
Suche Kontaktbrucken /-schieber fur Alps Eingangswahl-/Umschalter in Hessen - Ginsheim-Gustavsburg | Radio & Receiver gebraucht kaufen | eBay Kleinanzeigen
What is the exact name of these parts and where I can order?
Thank you very much for advices.

- nevertheless from user handling view it is a rotary switch like this under
ALPS - 160595-3 - Switch, rotary. Contacts: 4-Pole 5-Position.
But this was not the question.
I want to know the naming of the internal parts of Alps switches, which makes the wanted connections (maybe contact sliders ?).

I Believe my old Pioneer "Stereo Anlage" bought in Germany in the 70's use those things...but I don't believe You are going to find only the "sliding contacs" ...
Do You remember those AEG DUAL of Telefunken Stereos from the 70's with round black or metallic push buttons on the front that stayed inwards and released the others when pressed for switching sources ?
You could try some repair shops and find some slider switches and cannibalize them, but the problem is finding on that fits with the same size...

i might have the same switch. mine is currently disassembled. once the aluminum "house" is de-soldered from the board (dummy solder points) and the tangs on the sides bent out for removal, there are 4 "wafers" inside soldered to the electronic circuit on the board. each of these has a gray plastic wheel that spins freely and has contact leafs on it that make contact with the wafers to complete circuits that tell the motor which position to move to and send that sselection to pre-amp. you will have to srounge for all of it. i am currently unable to reassemble mine because i did not note the positions of the gray wheels when i pulled the rod out and now i do not know their positions for reassembly. do you?

Who know more about quality standard of this replacement slide switch in the same outline ?
ALPS - 160595-3 - Switch, Rotary. Contacts: 4-Pole 5-Position.
If quality will be good, a strip down of the old one was only wasting of time. Otherwise certainly not.
