Rockford Fosgate Prime R750-1D good blue led, no sound.

I have a Rockford Fosgate Prime R750-1D good blue led, no sound.
The only thing getting hot/warm is the Led, 494 and the 1GM transistor beside it. (picture)
None are over heating just around 96-98. Any help wound be appreciated.

Thanks

Q: Is the 494 producing drive pulses?
A: No

I tested the voltage on the 494.
1. = 3.92
2. = 4.94
3. = 0
4. = 4.87
5. = 1.46
6. = 3.48
7. = 0
8. = 12.41
9. = 0
10. = 0
11. = 12.41
12. = 12.39
13. = 4.94
14. = 4.94
15. = 7.46
16. = 4.94

Will do tomorrow, got to spend some time teaching my daughter to play a Roli Seaboard Rise.
Thanks for the help and will get that info to you asap.

Sorry I forgot to post the above last night.

I had to remove the riser-card/add in card or what you all it.

Thanks

Q: Is there a Q703 that has its emitter connected to pin 14 of the 494 and its collector connected to pin 4 of the 494?
A: You are 100% correct.

I rechecked 339 and I made a mistake on pin 11 it's 0.

The diagram I'm working from has only inverting inputs connected together, It appears that 7 and 8 on your 339 are connected together. Do you read 0 ohms between them?

Lift that transistor and power up the amp. The amp will likely power up without remote so start watching it as soon as you connect B+. This will disable all protection so, if you have a current limiter, use it.

It would be better to do this with all FETs clamped tightly to the heatsink until you see what the amp does when you power it up.

I changed the 339 and turned it on and got a flash of red then solid blue but no sound then 1 minute later the sound starts working.
Sometime when I run the amp it works straight from the start. No matter how the volume level is the blue led is on then it cuts the sound off and 30 to 60 minutes it cuts back on for 2 to 3 minutes and repeats. But after a while of the it just turns of the sound until I restart it.

Sorry it took so long, it would not start up last night.
I left on today and in about 2 hour it just turned on and started doing the loop thing.
With jumpers on and sound working.

Q: Are you using the jumpers like those used for JL amps or are you soldering individual wires?
A: I used Arduino like jumpers.

Q: Does the preamp board have to be in the circuit for the amp to power up?
A: I don't think it does but the audio input is on the card and I don't want to sit there for 30 to watch it cut on so I go about my business until i hear it.

When sound is not working the blue led is still on and the amps from the main power is at 0.020.

I don't think the 339 is involved. All of the outputs are the same as they were when you posted the other voltages.

The jumpers you used are better than making individual jumpers but the type recommended for the JL amps require no soldering. They are item #14 on the TT5 page if you missed them.

I think you'll have to lift the transistor and repeatedly power cycle to see if anything every fails to work properly. That may indicate whether the problem is with the audio circuit or with the protection circuit.
