What do folks think of this design and crossover. Never heard much about it when first offered on their website. Kits are no longer listed.

I think the SB26STC replaced the former SB25STC tweeter and its pretty close to a drop in replacement.

SB makes some nice things. I'm sure their kit is well designed. Crossover looks fairly straightforward, without actually simulating it.

There are two serious issues with the SB ELOK in my opinion.
The volume of 15 liters simply is too small for two woofers. The result is a peak at 100 Hz and not much bass below.
The crossover at 4 kHz clearly is too high for an MTM speaker. The result is a terrible vertical dispersion pattern. Furthermore, the woofer break-ups starting at 5 kHz are hardly attenuated.
I think the SB woofers deserve a better design. In a larger cabinet, combined with a different tweeter and crossed at 2 kHz, they would perform much better.
