Good morning!
I have an older Sennheiser K6 with the ME66 shotgun capsule. I had to remove green rust over the last months because contact was not great but now I seem to have other dirty components inside since I get weird crackling and static noises.
Technicians won't help since the cost of work would be above buying another one. I understand that.
Having repaired and built number of microphones, I would love to give it a try. However, I can't seem to find the way to take both parts appart.
Could someone point me to a good source? I've been looking on the net for quite a while with no success.
Regards

Ok, got the file without issue. Here is a copy of the page 21 which I cropped for a proper web view.
Still can't figure how to open... not clear what can be unscrewed, pulled, pushed...
I Feel kinda stuck...
Anyone as an idea on how to reach these components?

And found the file for free here : https://audio-circuit.dk/downloads/sennheiser/Sennheiser-ME62_ME67-mic-sm.pdf
Ok, so managed to do it :
- Unscrew the upper grid and ring (using rubber band)
- Remove the foam pop filter
- Pull the inner assembly toward the top end (where I removed the grid)
- Carefully align the inner grid
- Make sure the inner grid is not folded or pointing outward (as it may fold while inserting)
- Before pushing it all the way into the tube, make sure the inner grid is flat and aligned, then finish inserting it
- Put back the pop filter then ring/grid
