I want to make a two way bookshelf cut at 3.5K 18db running at 8 ohms with those speakers. How can I make the 5 ohms tweeter run at 8 ohms? Is simply using a resistor troublesome? How can I calculate the loss of sensitivity to know if I would need an l pad aswell?
You have no choice but to pad the tweeter down to meet the woofer SPL which will be about 83 dB after you account for baffle step loss of frequencies. A resistor in series before the XO filter or an L-pad after one is common approach to accomplish that. Search forum for simulation software and procedure on performing one.

What is this baffle step thing?

Made a crossover with the recorded material from Madisound. But I didn't take into account this baffle step thing.

1 - You don't need to match impedance, only volume. Having a 5 Ohm tweeter and 8 Ohm woofer is fine. The issue is making sure frequency response is consistent.
2 - You have a couple of options in how to go about. You can attempt to simulate everything with tools, or you can do what I do, which is build the cabinet, and measure the drivers. This will be most accurate. Any "baffle step" issues will show up most accurately this way, especially if you measure in place.

I want to match impedance because my amplifier can't run under 8 ohms.
Once you introduce a series resistor to pad the tweeter level down, your impedance will be matched.

Already did that. I have introduced a 2,7 ohms resistor, Look at the schematic.
