i tried the dpc program , but i don't have the knowledge to use it.
these are the woofer parameters
it is a car woofer

It depends on where you want to use it. In a car or in your house? Also if you can give the brand and the model, it can help us.
it is a JBL P-1500
that crutchfield used to sell long time ago.
it is a car sub.
i just wonder how it works on a box calculator.
thank you.
sorry for delay in response

Well box calculators like WinISD and Unibox can offer several recommended alignments depending on what kind of sound you want to have and where your subwoofer will be located, in a car or in a house. I'll try to help you soon, but now I must study for my exam.
i would prefer the most musically accurate box results vs. what type of sound might be prefered by the listner.
thank you.
i was hoping there was a web site where you could just plug the parameters in and hit the calculate button.

thank you.

There is one online one I know of, winisd online. I think its the same as the program with less options

Did you specify the Vas in cubic feet?
If you specified it in liters, the resulting box volume is in liters.
If you specified it in liters, the resulting box volume is in liters.
You got such a large box because Vas is fairly high and:
1. the Qts is just a little on the high side for a vented box
or
2. you tried to choose a low Qtc sealed box

it is a car audio woofer
i only entered the info that comes with the speaker.
the manual does not recommend a box of any size for the woofer.

What volume do you have available ?
A 25 cu. ft box is correct. This speaker can go real low, but it needs a lot of volume to do so. It can be made smaller tho, somewhere around 100 ltrs. If you use 2 in isobaric configuration you can half that volume. 65 ltr closed, fully stuffed (isobaric) would be nice enough for use in a car.

I tried the first woofer you talked about and I have a 6 cubic feet box. The second woofer you listed take even more space.
Tell us what do you want, we will help you to find a woofer.
