Hey, guys (phew, been quite a bit of question lately, so forgive me)
But I was curious what are the particular advantages and disadvantages of slot loading a driver. Is it simply for certain frequencies? (Highs/bass) How does one go about calculating the appropriate slot dimensions? Does it make a difference if it's sealed or closed cabinet? And any other thing you guys can think of that could possibly help
Again, how and why would one slot load a woofer?
Many thanks in advance guys, it's all appreciated. Much love.
(Side note: did a search on the forums and couldn't find much info on this, hence why I'm asking)
