Can anyone identify the marking on a SOT-23-6?
N499t
This came out of a cut tape in a static bag that was supposed to be a stash of ZXTC2045E6TA's
Also does anyone know a good website with a comprehensive list of code markings?

I couldn't find it. Does it have any markings on the bottom?

The parts forum has helped me so you might want to try there.

I would suggest the device is a Nexperia BC817DPN assuming "N4" is the device code, the "99" is the date code and the "t" is a manufacturing site code. The marking format in your photo matches the format listed in Nexperia's documentation for the SOT457 (SOT-23-6) package (Nexperia SOT457 Markings). BC817DPN is a dual NPN/PNP (BC817DPN datasheet). Section 7 of the datasheet lists the marking code as "N4".
My process is to first try to make sense of the marking format. From past experience, the sideways "99" was a clue to me that it was not part of the device code. Then I did a general web search on "N4 SOT23-6" and found an image of a BC817DPN that had the same marking format as in the photo in PapaZBill's post #4. The reference to BC817DPN in the image led me to the Nexperia web site.

They're likely a pin compatible replacement for that part. I do this from time to time with my stock and forget I did it. Datasheets here for comparison.
