Hello all, this is my first time on this forum.
Through research, I have found that there's not a lot of options for speaker or crossover design software for the dreaded Mac OS X, ha ha ha. Short of running Windows on parallel on my system. And no offense, I'm just not big on the buggy and virus susceptible Window softwares.
I can't afford commercial software to use a few times. But I have no problem Donating to a good open source freeware system.
Is anyone else not running parallel Windows and using something like
Passive crossover designer from jeff bagby or the likes of something near there....

I have the same problem on Linux.
I have started developing my own simulator (SpeakerSim), which works on Linux, Mac OS X, Windows. However, it is not very powerful and it is not finished yet.
I find Excel simulators very hard to use and they usually don't work very well in LibreOffice. I'm also running BoxSim with WINE.

FWIW I just resurrected 3 Mac programs I wrote long ago for speaker design and room acoustics, which are now usable on Macs again thanks to emulation technology: music-download - ralphgonz
Much thanks
ralphgonz, thank you for the link!!! I’ll check this out very soon!! It’s hard to believe how little is available for Osx!!!
